These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the Excel Medical Management ("EMM," "we," "us," or "our") website and describe the general terms under which EMM provides medical billing and revenue cycle management services to healthcare practices. By using this website or engaging EMM's services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

EMM provides medical billing, claims submission, revenue cycle management, workers' compensation billing, accounts receivable follow-up, denial management, payment posting, patient billing, credentialing and enrollment, practice management support, and reporting and analytics services to healthcare practices. Specific services, fees, and obligations for a given practice are governed by a separate written services agreement between EMM and that practice.

No Medical Advice

This website is provided for informational purposes about EMM's billing and revenue cycle management services. It does not provide medical advice, and nothing on this website should be construed as a substitute for professional medical judgment.

Client Practice Responsibilities

Practices engaging EMM's services are responsible for providing accurate and timely information necessary for billing and claims processing, and for maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare laws and payer requirements relevant to their own operations.

Confidentiality & HIPAA

Where EMM handles Protected Health Information on behalf of a practice, that information is handled in accordance with HIPAA and any applicable Business Associate Agreement between EMM and the practice.

Intellectual Property

The content, design, and materials on this website are the property of Excel Medical Management and may not be copied or used without permission, except as permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EMM is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Liability related to billing and revenue cycle management services is governed by the separate written services agreement between EMM and the practice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Excel Medical Management operates, California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
